Voyage of Fortune Raffle Seller Rules

Each member will be assigned a select number of tickets to sell. To earn a full scholarship, we must sell 4000 tickets. As a member, you hereby agree to all the terms and conditions of selling the raffle tickets assigned to you and are responsible for all sold and unsold tickets until money/tickets are returned to Armada Corps.

A )  All raffle ticket proceeds, and ticket stubs sold must be delivered to Armada Corps no later than the close of business on December 30th, 2023, to be entered in the first drawing January 1, 2024. If unable to physically turn the stub and proceeds into our fundraiser representative, the ticket number can be reported Via the Band App to Armadacorps for entry into the first drawing January 1st, 2024.

B) Only registered members may sign out the raffle tickets for sale.

  • Ticket stubs and the funds are then the responsibility of the member and guardian who signed and/or received them. 
  • Unsold tickets must be returned unless otherwise directed by Armada corps. Tickets should continue to be sold until all 4000 tickets are sold out.

C) Armada corps reserves the right to invoice you for all outstanding tickets should they be lost or stolen.

D)  Tickets are signed out in multiples of 25 tickets only.

  • More may be signed out as needed or until all tickets are sold whichever comes first. The responsible party may not sign out additional tickets until all current outstanding tickets are sold or accounted for from previous distributions.

E)  Selling price of each ticket is $25.00, payment accepted in the forms of:

Cash

Checks (Made payable to Armada Corps. Inc)

Venmo @armadacorps

Paypal info@armadacorps.org

Credit Card (QR Code and link for credit card payments will be available to members in the Band App)

  • Checks for raffle tickets purchases cannot be combined with registration fees, or other revenue sources.
  • Checks written for raffle tickets may only be written by the purchaser of the ticket who holds the ticket stub. (Tickets sellers must not convert cash received from sale of raffle tickets to personal checks.)
  • Checks drawn on insufficient funds will nullify the ticket that was sold, and that ticket will be omitted from the drawing.

F)  You must turn in raffle ticket sales proceeds separate from all other money. The sold ticket stubs and money must be submitted only to designated Armada Fundraiser coordinators.

G) Raffle ticket winners must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age.

H)  The winner need not be present to win.

I)  Armada Corps will mail checks to winners within 10 days of the winning number being drawn.

  • Please allow 7-10 business days for check to arrive in mail after an initial 10 day waiting period. 
  • Armada Corps is not responsible for lost/misdelivered checks due to USP service or address changes.

J)   All IRS requirements must be satisfied by the recipient and is the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  • Any prize donated back to Armada Corps Inc may or may not be tax deductible. Please contact a tax professional to verify. Armada Corps Inc are not tax professionals and therefore do not offer tax advice other than you should seek your own tax professional.

Terms & Conditions:

Tickets are $25.00 each and will not expire until they are drawn or December 31st, 2024, whichever comes first. A Maximum of 4,000 tickets will be sold from November 2023 until March 31st 2024 or the maximum number of tickets have been sold, whichever comes first. A total of $6,100.00 (Prizes) will be distributed throughout the 2024 calendar year. The drawings will begin January 01, 2024, and will continue through midnight December 29th, 2024. Winners will be contacted by phone and posted on our website and/or social media platforms. Winners reserve the right to donate their winnings back to Armada corps but must notify Armada within seven calendar days of the initial phone call that their ticket number was drawn. If Prize is given back to the Armada Corps organization, it may qualify as a charitable donation.  Winner information must be CLEARLY printed in order to ensure that winners can be contacted. A check will be mailed to the address listed for the winner. No purchase other than raffle ticket is required to enter the Armada Voyage of Fortune Raffle.

By entering in the Armada Voyage of Fortune Raffle, each entrant agrees to

  1. releases Armada Corps its board members, agents, or representatives (individually and/or collectively Armada Corps) from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, attorney’s fees) caused by participating in the raffle or winning any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.
  2. Acknowledges that the Prize is as described in the official rules (incorporated herein by reference);
  3. Agree to be responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with Prize acceptance;
  4. Grant Armada Corps sponsor and any of sponsor’s clients or designees the right to use my name, city of residence and any image take of me by or on behalf of Armada Corps Sponsor, in connection with Voyage of Fortune Raffle, in any and all media now and hereafter devised without limitation and without additional compensation, notification or permission or other liability to me or my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives or assigns; and
  5. Declare that;
    1. I am a legal resident of either the 50 united states or district of Columbia;
    2. I was at least 18 years of age at the time of entry;
  6. Armada Corps and/or its sponsors are not responsible for undeliverable or lost checks due to incorrect address or change of address.

 

Armada Corps is a registered 501(c)3 Non-profit corporation. Purchase of raffle tickets may or may not be tax deductible please consult with a tax professional.  This fundraiser is for the benefit of the members in the form of scholarships to join and compete in the indoor marching circuit but is not limited solely to scholarships, may also be applied to uniforms, travel cost and or the purchasing of new instruments for members of Armada corps.
