The fleet of Armada Corps groups began in the summer of 2016.  With borrowed drums and a desire to have live music in local parades, Rhythm Armada Drumline (RAD) was born.   In the winter of 2017, Rhythm Armada competed in their first Winter Guard International (WGI) Regional in Portland Oregon.

The summer of 2017 brought our first attempt at a summer Drum Corps, participating in local parades as a Soundsport performance group, it was our first foray adding winds and guard.

For the winter of 2018, Armada Guard was born.  In addition to Rhythm Armada, we added an indoor Guard, both attending WGI Regionals.  Summer of 2018 offered multiple opportunities to continue our parade groups with the guard and percussion marching separately.

By winter of 2019, Treasure Valley Indoor Association (TVIA) became a division of Armada Corps, operating under our non-profit umbrella.  TVIA is the local competition circuit in Treasure Valley Idaho.

Winter of 2019 also brought a third group to the Armada Fleet; Armada Winds was born.  With three competitive groups, we were looking at growth.  In addition to performing locally, we competed at the WGI Regionals in Denver and Portland.  Summer of 2019 brought the addition of the Armada Mini Guard for our summer parades.

When we entered the 2020 season, Armada groups were at 5.  Three guards, one percussion and one wind group all competing and performing in local competitions and with four groups going to multiple WGI regionals.   We were able to get our trips to Denver, California and Portland completed just prior to shutting the season down early due to the global pandemic.

With the safety of staff and members in mind, our fleet docked until late spring 2021.  TVIA and Armada were able to put an exhibition season together for local groups.  Rhythm Armada and Armada Guard were able to perform.

2023 produced our first Open class Guard, resurgence of our Rhythm Cadet group, and our First July 4th Honor Marching Band.

2024 will add our World Class Guard and expansion of our clinics and cadet groups.  Join us in helping further the education in the marching arts.
