Executive Director – Frank Mastropaolo
Frank Mastropaolo has a wide breadth of experience in teaching and performing drums and a degree in Music with a Percussion Performance emphasis. Frank maintains a full private lesson studio and has taught at several local high schools.
Frank Mastropaolo is the founder of Rhythm Armada Drumline which has been expanded to include many different performance groups and is now a registered non-profit youth education company, Armada Corps, Inc.

Director of Ensembles – Joaquin A. Gomez
Joaquin Gomez is from Union City, California, and has over 30 years’ experience as a performer and staff member at James Logan High School, San Jose State University, The Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps., The Sacramento Freelancers Percussion Ensemble, The United States Army 91st Division Band, Oakland Military Institute, Blue Devils Entertainment, and the 191st United States Army Band. He has been instructed by, performed with, and instructed with some of the best in the world of marching percussion. He has been with Rhythm Armada since 2020
Prior to his move to the Treasure Valley in 2019, most notably Joaquin was on Percussion Staff from 2004 to 2018 with The Concord Blue Devils “B” and “C” Drums and Bugle Corps. The two-primary feeder corps for the twenty-time DCI World Champion Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. During this time Blue Devils “B” was awarded the Drum Corps. International Open Class Champion 5 times (’09,’10,’11,’14,’16) The Blue Devils “B” was also awarded the Drum Corps International Open Class Best Percussion Performance in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. As well as 2nd place Percussion Performance finishes in 2008, 2015,2017 and 2018. In the history of Drum Corps. International the Concord Blue Devils “B” holds the unprecedented record for six consecutive Best Percussion Awards at the DCI World Championships.
Percussion Instructor at Kuna High School 2019-2021. Fall 2022 he became the Percussion Instructor at Owyhee High School. During the day he is the Property Administrator for the Army National Guard Mission Command Training Support Program at Gowen Field. A 25-year United States Army Veteran now in the Army Reserves, he is a Railroad Operations Specialist with the 757th Expeditionary Railroad Center in Fort Sheridan, Illinois
Movement Visual Caption Head – Kyle Clevens
Kyle started his career in the marching arts at Foothill High School where they won state championship 4 years straight and also attended the Macy’s Day Parade and the Rose Bowl Parade. He went on to march Drum Corps International with Pacific Crest 2016-2017 and Blue Knights 2018-Present. Where in the 2021 season he won the award for best visual performer with the Blue Knights. Kyle taught at Silverado High School and Liberty High School in Las Vegas 2018-2019. He now currently resides in the Boise area attending school at the College of Western Idaho and teaches at Timberline High School as a visual technician.
