Rhythm Armada (RAD) is a competitive Winter Guard International (WGI) indoor percussion ensemble.  As a member of the Idaho Indoor Circuit, Rhythm Armada competes locally in the Boise, Idaho valley as well as competing at WGI Regionals in the Northwest. 

RAD, not only competes in WGI competitions, RAD performs for many community functions and events.  

* Members typically range from 14 to 22 years of age. (not over 22 years of age as of April 1, 2025) Experience in percussion required.

We are looking to fill the following spots for 2025: 

Snares – 6 to 8 spots

Tenors  – 4 or 5 spots

Basses – 5 or 6 spots

Cymbals – 4 or 5 spots

Vibraphone – 3 spots

Marimba – 4 spots

Xylophone/Glock – 1 spot

Drumset – 1 spot

Rack Percussion – 2 spots

Synth – 2 spots

Bass Guitar – 1 spot

Visual Performers – 2 to 4 spots

Rhythm Cadets is our non-competitive drumline for middle and high school students wanting to start or further their education in the marching arts.  This group is a great training ground for students wanting to switch instruments or start their marching career and get experience prior to high school. 

The cadets perform in local parades and in exhibition at local shows.

Bass – 4 spots

Cymbals – 5 spots

Instruments are provided for both groups.
