RHYTHM ARMADA & RHYTHM CADETS

Rhythm Armada (RAD) is a competitive Winter Guard International (WGI) indoor percussion ensemble. As a member of the Idaho Indoor Circuit, Rhythm Armada competes locally in the Boise, Idaho valley as well as competing at WGI Regionals in the Northwest.
RAD, not only competes in WGI competitions, RAD performs for many community functions and events.
* Members typically range from 14 to 22 years of age. (not over 22 years of age as of April 1, 2024) Experience in percussion required.

Rhythm Cadets is our non-competitive drumline for middle and high school students wanting to start or further their education in the marching arts. This group is a great training ground for students wanting to switch instruments or start their marching career and get experience prior to high school.
The cadets perform in local parades and in exhibition at local shows.

Auditions: October 28th, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Lake Hazel Middle School 11625 W La Grange St Boise, Idaho 83709
Audition Cost: $25.00 (invoice will be emailed, due prior to audition day Oct. 28th)
Open spots: 6-8 Snares, 4-5 Tenors, 5 Bass, 4 Cymbals, 8 Mallet Players (Marimba, Vibes, Bells etc), synth, 2 Rack, 1 bass Guitar.
Season: Begins October 28th and ends in April
Rehearsals: Saturdays from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Contracts are offered after auditions, there is a $75.00 contract signing fee
Tuition for the season is $600 + trip fees (approximately $200-250 per trip)

Location: Sawtooth Middle School 3730 N Linder Rd, Meridian, Idaho 83646 (Band Room)
Open spots: 6-8 Snares, 4-5 Tenors, 5 Bass, 4 Cymbals
Season: All year long including summer. Join at any time. Classes have begun.
Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Tuition: $100 per month (less then private lessons)
Performances: Local parades and exhibitions
